Jeep is hurting

yesterday i had it out and about got home....

went back to go out had 2 spots fairly large under it. I thought it was antifreeze...

I drove it down to the gas station and back and it was dripping like antifreeze would..

I threw a drip pan under it and quite a bit of Oil was coming out

What do you think i should do?

Oil pan replace?

i read that jeeps have some sort of gasket/seal problem??

Where should i start?

Where is the oil coming from? Is your engine clean? Clean really well, then monitor. Could be just a gasket...

If I remember correctly there is a TSB out on the rear main seal (cant remember which years), or maybe a valve cover gasket. How fast is it coming out? The best way to find it is grab 2 or 3 cans of brake kleen, and spray her down. After its dry, start it up and keep an eye on it from the bottom. This is what Id do.

A TSB is a Technical Safety Bulletin and is a manufacturer issued directive almost like a recall, the difference being a combination of the safety severity of the issue, the frequency as well as the operational effectiveness of the issue as it affects the vehicle. When i had my durango there was a recall on the front end, I took it down to the dealer and had it fixed at no cost to me because if the part in question failed, the wheels fall off. Fairly sure that would ruin anyone's day. You can usually search for them (TSB) on the internet and if you find something you can take it to the dealer for them to take care of it. Hope this helps...

TSB stands for technical service bulletin. different from recall. basically it is a bulletin put out by the manufacturer of common issues, not always safety. there's hundreds of tsb's for every vehicle. basically the manufacturer knows there's common probs, but won't recall them, so they put it on a tsb. they are getting very vague these days anyway.

check your oil before you proceed. but i agree, clean it off and determine where its coming from. check all your fluids, if its leaking quickly, one of them is gonna be low. also take pics of where you think its coming from, we'll help ya.
