jeep tj driveshaft question!

i was wondering if i can run 35s on a stock drive shaft for a while until i have the money for a slip yoke eliminator kit.

i have already up graded the axles dana 44 rear and dana 30 front ( chromoly axle shafts ) and re geared to 4:56 and about to buy a 4 inch lift with a already 1.25 body lift. i just want to know if i can run stock drive shaft with a t case drop kit for just a little while until i have money for the kit

You may not be able to get enough of an angle reduction with just a t-case drop to eliminate the vibes from a 4" suspension lift. You'll probably need to add a 1" motor mount to that t-case drop so the vibrations can be eliminated. At least not with a normal 1" t-case drop. If you can get rid of the vibes, you can continue using the OE rear driveshaft (the front is fine) but caution that the OE driveshaft is barely long enough to stay seated on the slip-joint t-case output shaft once the suspension lift is that tall. Some trail conditions might pull the front of the rear driveshaft off the t-case output shaft. Worse, such trail conditions might not completely pull it off where it can cock at an angle and jam on the t-case output shaft, bending the t-case output shaft.

Just be wary.

I've been running for months a 4" skyjacker lift with the drop bracket, stock axles, gears, drive shafts, even rear w/o a SYE, with 35" Cepeks. No issues. I don't wheel hard, but I definitely put it to the test. Oh, and not body lift. No rubbing. All good so far.
