Jeep TJ Hardtop Questions

Hi all! I recently purchased a 2006 hardtop with factory tinted windows and a rear wiper and defrost. I just have a couple questions. When I buy full doors will they line up and should everything fit correctly because the hardtop isn't for my exact model year? And should my hardtop fit perfect? It looks like theres a slight overlap in the back end of the jeep. Also how do I go about wiring the hardtop? Should I buy a wiring kit for a 2001 or a 2006? And where are the switches for everything? Is the sprayer hooked up to spray at the same time as the front windshield and where is the rear wiper set to? a switch on the middle dash? Thank you for your time and patience.

All doors 97-06 hard or soft fit the same

Buy the mopar hardtop wiring kit for 2001. It comes with all the switches, wires, hoses, washer bottle and fuses. You'll have to buy the adaptor for thee top. 03+ plug is different or it's easy to modify

The 2006 hardtop has no side vents. The 2006 vents are in the tailgate. The vents are an air release that makes closing the last door open, easier to close. Without the vent, you will be compressing air inside the Jeep, making the door hard to close. (It is hard to close even with the vent). You may have to close the door, then lean against it to get the door to latch all the way in.

But you can still use this top. And if the problem is too great, you can look around for an '03 to '06 vented tailgate.
Patience is a waste of time...

To help with the compression and makes closing easier I slightly open the drivers window when closing the door.
