jeep tj high clearance gas skid

i just finished installing my JKS 1.25" BL and a JKS 1" BMML and wanted to lift my gas tank skid 1 inch. i need the extra clearance and my gas cap bezel is getting some major stress due to the shorter gas hose.

im looking for both recommendations and tips or tricks

i want something light weight but not over $300

i saw a thread of someone who modified the stock skid to sit up an inch but i dont have a welder.

You want the savvy aluminum skid its $329 plus shipping its worth the extra money. Its light weight and has 2 mounting holes so you can mount it higher with the BL.

Savvy GTS - lightweight, strong, no rust
Taking advantage of a 1" BL, I gained 1.75" clearance under the gas tank

Rokmen.com 3/16" steel skid gave me the advertised 1-1/2" additional clearance and took a beating this wheeling year. $229 + shipping
