Jeep tj ticking/ clicking. Please Help

My 99' jeep wrangler sport with the 4.0 straight six automatic clicks when i put it in gear. It gets more rapid as i accelerate. it doesnt click when it is in park. Please help.

Crawl uner it and take a good look at the exhaust manifold. They are prone to cracking on the 4.0s

If that was the case why would I only hear it when i put the jeep in gear?
I love the environment so much I cover my Jeep with it!
