I was driving home when my 97 tj broke down, it just died. Had the jeep towed to the gas staion where he said that i needed a tune up the connections were coroded. They sanded the connections so I could get, home. I started to drive home and as soon as i got on the highway the car died. Had it towed and once I got it off the tow truck it turned over. I replaced the cap, rotors and wires and all seemed to be fine.
I drove approximately 45 miles and it died again, the mechanic said it was the crank shaft sensor, replaced it and told me the fuel pump was broken. I purchased a used one din't want to pay the $300.00. I replaced the fuel pump today and the jeep still doesn't work. I can't tell if the pump is cycling, but does anyone have any ideas.
