Jk springs

Yes I searched and couldn't find the answer (though it will probably show up at the bottom of this thread as another thread that is just like another thread) I got a set of '10 Jk springs and I know that they will fit the front of my LJ but I think I read on here that you had to trim a little bit of the end of the spring, is that true? If so can anyone tell me how much and which end to trim. If there is a write up that someone knows of that would be great too. Thanks for the help

don't both with the JK springs, not worth it. Easier to go ZJ V8 springs or Caprice/Crown Vic springs if you're too cheap to buy the real stuff.

You certainly won't get the answers you're looking for with that shitty attitude.

Is calling someone cheap called for? He doesn't know my financial situation!! Seems everytime someone posts something on this forum about doing something that wouldn't cost a ton of money and get the result they are looking for the same members have to chime in about spending hundreds if not more money. If you look at his other posts he is always saying that you shouldn't do that and you should spend this amount and don't waste your time with that. If he doesn't have any knowledge about what the thread is about he doesn't need to chime in with calling people cheap or saying anything for that matter. Just go on to the next thread. I meant no disrespect to anyone on this board by tha name calling, but some people just need to know when to not say anything.

I am just looking for an answer, I am not a mechanic and I am learning as I go. I have done everything to my Jeep that has been done to it. This is the first Jeep/Truck/Car I have ever done any work on and I get my answers and help from forums like this and it is much appreciated. Just tired of getting smarta$$ answers, that's all

Come on now, it's Christmas day! Let's keep the name calling out of the thread.

For what it's worth I went with ZJ V8 front springs.

Merry Christmas to all also!! I was looking for ZJ springs but these springs were offered to me for free so I thought I would give them a shot. I just wanted to know if they have to be trimmed at all. I have read that they will fit and I have read that they wont. Just wanted to see if anyone had done this and what they had to mod to get them to fit. And I am sorry that I called him an A** H***

I have not heard of JK springs working, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been done. Give it some time and I am sure somebody will chime in on if it will work or not. I agree, free is good.
