Just purchased 2000 Wrangler and need help with soft top

I found a 2000 Jeep wrangler with 19,000 actual miles. But, the stitching on the soft top needed to be restitched. Got that done today now I cannot figure out hoe to reinstall the soft top.

I cannot get the top positioned correctly to install the screws that secure the front of the top to the frame. Is there any step-by-step how-to available on the net?

tw

I didn't understand what your problem was, but when i bought my jeep, this video helped me a lot to remove hard top and to install the soft top.

I hope it will help!

The soft top is screwed to the header with the eight self tapping screws so the top's raw edge faces forward on the header, black fabric and plastic strip facing up. Then the top is wrapped around the header once to cover the screws and layed over the rear support hoops and the velcro etc. is wrapped around the supports. Bestop has directions for their new tops at http://www.bestop.com/installation_guides/79139.pdf that will help too.

That's funny. I just read another thread on here today about how to make someone feel happy and sad at the same time.

I read that thread too. Thankfully, I didn't dial the XXX phone number you posted.
