P-0300 means multiple cylinder misfires. Personally, I have never heard of anyone having good luck with Bosch plugs in their Jeep engine... a Bosch engineer actually talked about it one time and suggested it was due to them not having the right/exact heat range for our Jeep engines.

I don't know what year TJ you have or what engine but if it's a 2000 or newer, three known good plugs include the double-platinum Autolite APP985 and Champion 7034, or the iridium-tipped Autolite XP985. All three are known good performing plugs for our TJ engines.

If you had to pick one for a 2004, 4.0, Automatic, which would it be?

I'm leaning toward the Iridium XP985.

That would be my pick out of those three too.

Wiring got wet and shorted somewhere. You said it started to occur in a rainstorm. Are all the connections you removed tight?
