I saw the kc replacement headlight for around $120 for the pair. Has anyone used these and are they worth the money? Good company and says just plug them in. Considering them but wondering if anyone else has?

Yeah I've had these for the passed two months and love them. Found them on amazon for $100 though, with free shipping

Great, you read about all these horror stories with all these eBay kits being used. Seems these might be the way to go.

I had them for a year now and they are just fine. No issues at all. Easy install to, just plug them in.

I normally check four wheel parts because there is one between home and work, they have them there for 100 also. No shipping, no waiting most of the time.

I'm really torn about all the headlight options on the Jeep Forum. I have read about so many different types of replacement headlights. Several that you buy and build as kits, etc. Some that need the something done to adapt wiring, etc. My issue is that I can't afford to spend $300 or more on a set of speaker lights, but seen these KC headlight replacement for around the $100 mark that looks to be a fair deal and looks to be a much better light than the factory. The factory is so bad on my Jeep that I leave my headlights on high beam all the time and no one ever notices. Many times at night when cars are behind me, you can see the shadow of my Jeep in my own headlights. I owned a VW at one time and lights were much better than these. I looked at this thread and Ecode lights are mentioned. Are these brighter or better than the KC lights? Just trying to find out more info from guys that have already done the swaps. I would appreciate anyone's advise on headlight options without going too far over the hundred mark. Thanks.

Great product and a big improvement over stock. The little KC in the bottom glows in the dark after the lights are turned off. Insignificant but kind of cool.

I have them and love them paired with some hella bulbs that have super brights here are the Kc's 96 bucks free shipping ( where I bought mine) KC HiLiTES 42301 7" Round 60/55w H4 DOT Headlight - Set of 2 http://amzn.com/B0045IBCGE. Here are the coolest bulbs I ever had normal for normal driving. The brights are like off-road lights. HELLA HLA-H83140141 H4 12V 100/55W Halogen Bulb Off Road Use http://amzn.com/B000COBLJI

Ps the bulbs that come with them are good to. Sylvania h4 street legal. Mine are supposed to be off-road only because the brights blind people. But the standard beam is perfect and bothers no one. Sure help avoid deer and moose at night though. Those bulbs are best 16 buck improvement I ever seen. The reviews speak for them.

Just read a post about Rampage H4 conversion from Quadratec and really liked the light housing which have glass lenses. The reflectors have a nice look kinda like th KC's, but without it being plastic. Price is just a little better and it also uses the H4 bulbs. The issue is that it states you can easily install and just plug them in, but several comments on the forum say that the wiring harness needs to be switched? Anyone have any experience with something like this because I'm not very experienced with wiring. Guess I will call to find out about this tomorrow. After reading all the many comments, I think this option will be the best for me for the money. I liked the Hella E code, (better price too), but didn't like the lens as well. Oh well, just a matter of ipinion, but I have to find out about the harness first.

Think it just needs to be switched on JK's h4 bulbs plug right into tjs. Yes glass is nice too. I think either are a good choice. The kc's are 96 free shipping on amazon and mine look like new after 2 years. They have something on them that looks rainbow when wearing polarized glasses. They are not the fading car plastic lights by any means but either one should hook right up and those awesome hella bulbs I posted a link for will fit in the rampage ones too. Have fun. It is nice to see better at night. What ever you chose will do that.

Installed mine about a month ago, easy install, huge improvement over the stock headlights. I have even had compliments from "non" Jeep people during the day about how good they look. One of my coworkers saw me driving at night and couldn't believe how bright they were. I would recommend for sure.

I've had the KC headlamps in my '06 Jeep for over three years now. Look and work as great now as when I first put them on...and they do make a huge difference over the factory headlamps. Easy to install. My son put a pair on his '05 two years ago and they work great too.

Way better. I had those siverstars too before the KC's. They are great. I was living in Alaska at the time. (Dark all day lol) were my favorite upgrade at the time lol. I had those cool blue sylvanias prior to the siverstars. I think they suck and threw them away

Edit. In short. The silver stars are ok. The kc's are way better.
