Leaking NP231 transfer case with SYE

I have a NP231 Transfer case with a ProComp SYE that is leaking where the output shaft exits the tail cone. I imagine ProComp keeps it simple and uses the same seal as a stock NP231.

Can anyone confirm this?

Call and confirm, but my guess is yes. Get a National Seal #3946 and call it a day. My RR SYE was leaking from day one. I installed the 3946 never had a problem since.

For anyone else that runs into this problem..

I called ProComp and I found the ProComp SYE is manufactured by TeraFlex. TeraFlex confirmed this and gave me the following part numbers for the tail shaft seal:

Crown: 4762899 or TeraFlex: 231104

I didn't bother to ask or cross reference. He gave me the number, I said thank you and hung up...
