???leaking valve seal???

so ive recently started driving my jeep again after a long period of being away and i noticed some smoke. It doesnt smoke when i start the vehicle and it also dosent smoke while im driving. But if i let it idle more than about 10 secs or longer when i give it gas next time it puts out a puff of smoke and the puff is larger the longer i let it idle. If its only a short idle it wont smoke at all. so im assuming its a valve seal that has a slow leak on to a surface in the intake/exhaust chamber that builds up on idle due to the lack of vacuum to suck it into the combustion chamber. and when i give it gas it either gets enough vacuum or it is burn by exhaust flames. so let me know if im retard and its a oil ring OR if there is some sort of sealant like Lucas that would help.

i've had luck with lucas. i say try an oil flush you buy at parts store, put it in the oil run for 5 mins and drain. let it drain all day if you can. change the oil and filter, use lucas and see what happens.

valve seals can also smoke on extended idle, not just at start up.

Well if your saying it is gray smoke that points more towards the milk shake motor. I don't think you did that, but try what dave said. Just to be sure pop your radiator cap and see what color it is. It should be a nice rich color ie mine is a really nice dark green. I dunno if they changed to gold in the later years or not tho.
