Leaky front Diff

Seems that my front differential is leaking.

1) what are some causes?
2) what is the fix?

The usual cause is seals. I had to replace mine.

It can be either the seal under the cover or the pinion seal. If it's pinion it will be leaking where the shaft connects. That's usually what it is. Easy, stinky job.
