Ok so I have a very old and tired 99 wrangler 4.0 auto. I'm needing to replace the stock shocks and Springs they are dead and was thinking I'd just do that with a small lift. But after doing lift research for a couple hours I'm lost lol. Does anyone have any recommendations on what kind and where I should buy?
I researched for over 6 months before I made a decision. Most of that was just learning what components I really needed and what my own needs were.
In the end, I decided on the BDS 2" lift because of price, reviews, and simplicity. Turns out you really don't need a lot of extra parts a lot of manufacturers bundle in when you're doing a small lift.

X2. For the pure simplicity, quality, and price point BDS is an excellent choice.
If you want something with a little extra quality, OME is a good choice too but it's a much steeper price. This in my opinion is a better lift to build your Jeep around, however, you make it sound like you are looking to replace but gain a little extra height in the process. Therefore, the BDS I would say is a better choice for you
It just depends on your budget and what you want to do with it. I'm about to get a new Savvy mid arm kit that will be around $3500 not including shocks and springs. I do lots of hard rock crawling.
BDS has an awesome sale on this weekend if you order through their site!
