do you have a capacitor? Your amp is most likley putting to much strain on the alternator. buy a cap and it should stop the draw.

Same problem in my friend's 2008 dodge charger, has two 12in pioneer subs, a 1200 watt amp to run them, and then a 700 watt amp running his speakers (unnecessary but he wanted it) and all of his light pulse to the bass too, you should get a yellow top optima battery and/or a stronger alternator, you are pulling more power then the stock alternator can produce

+1 on the capacitor. Also an excellent battery, higher output alternator and proper cable throughout, if you want a solid setup anyhow.

Fixed it for the most part. Got a new battery but that didn't help much. What did fix most of the flickering was that I recently wired some back up light to the trailer harness. So I rewired the power to directly to the battery so that's what fixed it.

90 amp alternator. Add up all the power sources and make sure it stays under. Keep in mind sub numbers usually refer to 'peak' watt performance, not RMS. A 1200 watt sub won't be constantly draining 1200 watts.

That being said, I have H4 headlights, fogs, KC slimlights, GPS, phone charging, and 700 watt sub and don't notice any dimming... My previous vehicle would tho. I always thought it was entertaining.

Get power acoustic capacity about 50 to 100 bucks I would say 3 or 5farad would do you good unless you have over 3000-5000 watt amp it has digital display and 6 LED blue lights on it they look cool check it out. Also having a power draw like that can reak havoc on your jeeps computer I fried my old s-10 computer that way
