Limp Mode is a program mode your transmission will go into when it senses certain readings and malfunctions. The transmission will stay in 3rd gear and you cannot shift out. Only park, revers and 3rd gear work. No it's not an Enzyte problem! LOL

Yeah limp mode sucks. I had it happen on my new (well new on '91) Suburban. The transmission fails and the computer locks in a forward gear so you move the POS. You move it to the stealer and they don't even look it over.....Just hand'em $3500 for a new trannie......luckily I had still had the warranty to cover it all.

Take out that automatic and get a 5-6 speed much more reliable.

I chose the auto because I live in San Diego and drive in traffic ALOT and it sucks to have to shift all the time. I had a 5 speed in my last JEEP and never again while I live in paradise!
