Unless you have a rubicon model chances are you do not have lockers. The dash backgrounds where used in all models, to keep things simple..vs having ones' just for the rubicon etc.

Does it light up or can you just see the indicators in the dash cluster? If you have switches at the bottom middle dash that say axle lock the you have lockers other wise probably not.
This may be what you have from the factory:
All 4-Speed Automatic Transmissions
DG6 4-Spd. Automatic 42RLE Transmission
DHAP Lock-Up Torque Converter
DHNS Command-Trac Part Time 4WD System
DJJS Dana 30/186MM Front Axle
DMES 3.73 Axle Ratio
DRKS Dana 44/226MM Rear Axle
DSAS Anti-Spin Differential Rear Axle
ERH 4.0L Power Tech I-6 Engine

You can e-mail Jeep with your Vin and get the build sheet for your Jeep:
customerassist []
2006 LJ Unlimited
3.5 inch Lift
8000lb Mile Marker
Warn Bumper

If your Jeep has indicator lights on switches that indicate front and rear locker, you must have a Rubicon Unlimited which does indeed have front and rear lockers.
When you have a choice, buy American.

Take a look at the front differential. If it has Rubicon lockers you'll see a wiring harness and an air line going into it. Same for the rear.

If it does have them, look at the rear of the T-case crossmember - you should see 2 small compressors mounted on the top of the crossmember. Unless they've been relocated.

It's no wonder the country is falling apart - stupidity abounds!
