Question Loose Clutch

Is there a way to tighten up a manual clutch on a jeep.
My 2000 Jeep TJ has a 3550 transmission. The clutch seems loose.
I'd like to tighten it up myself, but don't know if it's something I should leave to the professionals.

I hear the most you can do to adjust the clutch is to bleed the air out of it...and hope that firms the pedal up.

^^^^TRUE

There is NO adjustment for your clutch. It is all hydrolic. No linkage. Only thing you can try is bleeding the clutch.

Bleeding a clutch is like bleeding brakes. Simple job.

Not entirely true...bleeding your brakes is a BITCH when you're alone and you don't have a self-bleeder kit.

Loose Clutch

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The "stick shifter" is loose... the pedal is fine. When driving, (especially in third gear) the stick shift wobbles around quite a bit, and when things start shaking, the stick shift wobbles something fierce. So, when it's in gear, it feels like it moves around more than it should.
Any advice?
