Loose input shaft!!!

Been working on my jeep to pin down some teeth chatter when letting off the gas.. Found a loose input shaft in this ax15. Is that normal or did I just find the problem?

I can move the input shaft side to side with quite a bit of free play. Took a video of it but can't seem to get it on here

I recall no such side-to-side play of my old AX-15's input shaft and can't imagine that doesn't indicate anything but a significant problem.

I think i have a bearing issue you can turn the shaft fine till you get to a certain point then it wants to bind up like a particular section of the bearing has failed. Ordering a new rebuild kit which im hoping will fix all my problems. Thanks for the insight
