Loose passenger mirror

2000 stock tj mirror. Very loose and falls out of position during driving. Is there a trick to tightening it? Drivers side mirror super stiff.

There's the two screws where the ball is. Did you tighten them? My passenger side is toast and won't tighten any further.

Send a message via AIM to erickpl
Loosen them first and clean the threads. THEN tighten them back up. Works better that way at least for me.

Is the ball covered with the little rubber shroud?

Found the screws, they are maxed out. Any suggestions?
