Loose stearing?

So i went ahead and thew a 2" spacer lift along with some stock 04 rubi springs in my tj and after it was all said and done i noticed that my stearing seems like it has alot of play in it than before. This a normal thing after putting a lift in?

Thanks

what did you do? what did you undo? also you need to get an alignment done unless you want to replace tires in 5-10k miles.

nothing out of the normal install instructions. Jacked up the diff, put stands under the frame, disco the sway bars and gently let the diff down to let the compressed springs out. Then took the bump stops off and installed as directed. Then same stuff but backwards.
At 40mph i can swing the wheel back and forth between 11 and 1 and get just a touch of wheel turn. At slower speeds it seems the same as before.

So my question on alignments.....I havent gotten one yet but I have no pull to any side and it drives straight. We marked the camber bolts or what ever they are called and put it back where it was when we put everything back. I am worried that if I get it an actual alignment it will end up screwed up because of the factory settings on a non factory lift, and I am worried about developing the death wobble or any other nonsense...

the problem you get when you install a lift kit is you get tons of toe in (front tires pointing inwards).

So are there any after lift specs for alignments or are they put to factory???

Not to hijack this thread..........My steering is a lot more loose after the lift also. Nothing that I havent gotten used to though...

front of the (front) tires is 1/16" closer together than the rear of the (front) tires.

BB spacers? they would affect it a tiny bit since now your axle is shifted towards the passenger side. Nothing to really notice though.
