lost my brakes on the road!

well one of the metal tubes comming from my master cylinder decided to rust completely through and leak all my brake fluid..... Im somewhat of a new driver (only being driving a little over a year) and this was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me... after rolling for about 100 feet on the express way in neutral I saw where the traffic started to get congested and put the transmission into 1st and used my emergency brake and pulled off the road

cost me almost $200 to get towed back home only to figure out all th brake lines had to be redone and had to tow it to my dads friends garage n now im without a car and no ride to school for the next 3-4 days

h/o i got some pics

wow

Wow man that does sound scary. It just goes to show you what you would do in an emergency when you're vehicle is unable to stop. Wow, I would have probably done the same thing.

As long as you're alright that's all that matters. You can always get another brake line or a Jeep but you could never replace a "you"

heres the deuchbag hippy that refused to roll up my windows or keep my transfer case in neutral even after I showed him the owners maunal that clearly states
"Caution: Follow these steps to be certain that the transfer case is fully in N (neutral) and that the axle is is completely disengaged before recreational towing to prevent damage to internal parts"

Thats a really big truck to be pulling my little 3500 pound jeep lol

bye bye jeep (notice my window still open after i closed it 2 times)

it just really sucks cause I spent all day cleaning it and took off the top and doors and as soon as i leave it breaks

Thats why i like the Bulgarian style tow trucks. (aka the spider)
Thats an "old school" truck. The new types are a lot cooler and more futuristic. Its just like a spider that comes down. Picks up your ride and goes away in few minutes.

I dont think he needed a twin line boom for a Jeep. He wanted the hookup fee.

I would have taken the guys name down and called him in if he refused to listen to you about YOUR vehicle. (then I would have taken away his weed and cited him for possession)
