Lower control arm bushing bad but idk what lift I have

Ok well I'm needing some help! My rear lower controls arm bushing are bad, it's the upper part of the arm that bolts to the frame my problem is my jeep has a lift on it but im not sure what lift or size of lift I think 4inch it has all stock ucr's I'm trying to figure out where I can get new bushings. the lower control arms where they bolt to the axles have a uniball greaseable flex joint that can be rebuilt I'm not sure the technical name for it so a little help is needed sorry for any lack of information I'm just in need of the new rubber bushings

How about some pictures? There are most likely others on here with the same lift you have.

Sounds like the old Rubicon express 3.5" lifts. They came with only new lower control arms with their flex joint on one end and the rubber joint on the other. Post a picture to be sure. If they are Rubicon express, they sell rebuild kits.

That is a Rubicon Express arm. RE is owned by 4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers now. You can get them on-line or at a local store if there is one near you. They are pretty good about replacing those under warranty regardless of age, so be sure to complain and tell them how pissed off you are about it. You can probably get an entire set for all the arms on your Jeep for free.

those are the famous hourglass bushings that are so unreliable and go bad so often, it's the reason why RE went bankrupt. they were bought out by Transamerican Auto (owns 4-wheel parts, procomp, smittybilt and host of other brands). Daystar now makes the "warranty" replacement bushings of supposedly more durable polymer....here's more info about those: RE Daystar poly bushings splitting
