Hey guys i just bought my very first jeep!
It was damaged so i got a good deal.
I noticed that the lower control arm mount is completely bent and the lower control arm is bent also. (Front) I have ordered the both control arms but now i'm wondering what to do about the mount.
I saw a video where a guy replaced the mounts with rustys offroad, so i was wondering if thats the only option. Also i visited their website but there were multiple different ones with different degrees and such, which one is the stock one??
Or you can make your own and save about $40. Either way they need to get welded on. If you are using stock control arms, then get the Artec since they have the camber adjustments on them. If you have adjustable control arms, fab your own and add your own mini skids.
So I ordered the artec ones that was first posted but having trouble finding a welder! Thinking of buying a welding machine and practicing. One guy said $450 to weld!!!
For the welders on here, flux core should work right? And also 90 amps enough? Basically which one of these should I get

That's starting to look a lot like my front end! You need to get yourself Currie HD steering now (I hear the Florida flatlands can be a beach! :beerdrinking:
just an update.... i took it to a local body shop that i used for my SRT-4; and the guy said he'll repair the current one on there since its not too bad for only $100 and put the new control arm in and make sure everything is good to go! so now i have the $70 mounts just sitting smh haha
