Mechanic Needed!!!

I'm looking for a good mechanic with expirience on TJ's in the nyc area (Staten Island preferably, but I work in Queens and that would do) , any recomendations.

I just don't trust mu usauall guy since he wasn't sure if the transfer case oil change was part of the tranny service.

Sorry, I do not know anyone in your area. If you get out into the "sticks" I might be able to help you out.

Have you considered getting a book and some tools and working on it yourself? You really can't ask for an easier vehicle to service.

Welcome to WF.

i did but with me week old son in the house i can't seem to put him down long enough to even eat sometimes.

I typically do most minor service issues on my cars myself, but am new to jeeps and don't really now what i'm looking at when it comes to the steering, suspensions and drivelines. only ever really worked on front wheel drive vehicles.

If you are use to working on front wheel drive vehicles then you are in for a BIG TREAT!!!! Jeeps are a million times easier to work on compared to those masocistic mobiles.

Get yourself a Jeep service manual and keep it next to the crapper... Every time you make a contribution ...well, you learn something new. If you have a technical question then post it here.

RWD vehicles and ESPECIALLY jeeps are 100X easier to work on!!!!!!!!
