Metalcloak rear trackbar question.

Brown Santa just dropped off my Metalcloak rear track bar and while inspecting it it appears the bolt provided for the axle side will leave quite a bit of play in the bar. Not sure if the bracket is meant to compress and hold the bar (this does not seem like a good idea) or if there is an issue. Any body have any insight?

That is precisely how it is suppose to work. The fit between the bolt and joint couldn't matter less.

The bolt itself doesn't hold the bar in place, its the clamping force between the bushing and the mount that holds the bar in place. The bolt just applies the clamping force.

These guys have it spot on. Post some pictures up of the axle (with springs removed of course) at full bump and flex if you get a chance after the new track bar is installed. If you have questions about how to do this, just ask.
