Mirror stuck in bracket

So I installed the Rugged Ridge mirror relocation brackets back in 2005 and I'm trying to remove the driver side mirror and its completely fused with the metal tube spacer. Hammering is ruining the mirror bolt. I PB Blasted it plenty. I'm thinking about cutting it off but idk. It would be nice to upgrade to the near style TJ mirrors though.

What year is your jeep? (profile does not say) If it is a 03-06, those brackets won't work.
