misfiring 6cyl. '98

This is my first post so be gentle with me!!! I have a '98 wrangler 6cyl. and it has starting missing, especially when driven cold or when first driven after sitting all week, it seems to clear up after abour two miles. The engine seems to want to die, when I disengage the clutch and rev the thing it seems ok but when put under load again starts to miss and die until warm. Any ideas??
