Have a 04 tj 4.0 auto and have a missfire on start up ,every time on cold start and after a hot restart sometimes also. Did all usual,coil pac,plugs etc.possible injector??

Check the gaps on ur plugs... I had one that was slightly out of spec and it ran like a s.ob.!!!

My friend has what sounds like your problem? His 02 sensor was bad even though there were no codes.
