Motor lugging down

Every now and then while i'm setting at a red light my jeep starts to lug down like the clutch is being let out a little bit while holding the brakes. It's done this about three times now.I don't think it's a fuel problem because it has'nt quit running and runs great down the road.I kinda thought the spark plugs might have been fouled so i replaced them, but that did'nt cure the problem. What else would cause this?

Negative on holding the brake, and i'm positive there's no vacuum leaks because it sits there purring like a kitten until this happens

Could this be caused by the clutch throw out bearing or clutch?

something is pulling it down. You'd hear it if it was the throwout bearing.

Like a clunking or knocking noise?

Check and clean your IAC and throttle body ... That should take care of it.

I misunderstood.I thought when you apply your brake the motor boggs down.Sounds like an idle prob,x2 on cleaning your IAC.
