Motor Mount lift Vs. T-case drop

I currently have a 2.25" BB and will be installing a 1" or 1.25" body lift soon. I know I will have to adjust the pinion angle to avoid vibrations.

I was wondering which one would be better. I am thinking the motor mount lift due to the fact that I want to upgrade to a belly up skid plate eventually and dont want to lose any ground clearence with the t-case drop.

What are your guys/gals thoughts?

Thanks in Advance,

Redz

My t case is dropped 1" and I still have a vibration on take off. But I have a 4" lift that was installed by 4 wheel parts store in Nashville and they won't reply to my emails about what to do about it.

Your not raising the driveline of the Jeep when you install the body lift. Your only lifting the body. So if your not getting vibes now with the Budget Boost then you wont get them after the body lift.

You need to either install a MML which might help out a little. Or the best way to go is the CV driveshaft and SYE kit.

This is just a guess but maybe drop it a little more to relieve the DS angle? There is a quick cheap home made write up on 4x4xplor.com The good thing is you can adjust it as needed for vibrations. Google transfer case drop 4x4xplor

I have a a slight vibe at first in first gear. And a little vibe in high 3rd and 4th. I was also thinking about adding a .75 leveling kit to my 2.25 BB to make it 3 inches without the BL. And finances are def an issue. Haha. Can only do a little at a time

Did you have an allignment done after your install? or you tires may need re-balancing. I have the ocasional wobble going above 50 MPH after hitting a nice bump/Jersey pothole, but its for a split second. There is a write up on how to do your own allignment on 4x4xplor.com Its pretty easy.
