Mud in the skid plate

How do you get the mud out of your t-case skid plate. this is how i do it. Im alot dirtier than i look. Is there a magic skid plate out there that dont collect 200 lbs of mud. It was like black stinky clay i hate that stuff.

this is what it looked like before i started cleaning.

Looks like you have the correct procedure.

Having wheeled once in deep mud to help rescue two teenagers who sank their parent's Jeeps up to the frames, never again will I voluntarily wheel in mud.

I think its just the type of mud its like sludge when you dig into it you just leave finger marks. I think i need a skid plate with mass amount of holes in it. And of course relocate my locker pumps. has anyone here done that? I was thinking inside the jeep somewhere but under the hood may be better im not sure.

You could always get a hole saw and put some holes in the skid plate, a few well placed 1 inch holes would help. Just don't get too carried away with it and make it look like swiss cheese LOL

I have found one day of fun in that clay type stuff means 2-3days of cleaning you find mud in places on you and the jeep you never thought possible

I feel your pain! Every time I go through weeds, grass etc, this is what I have to do. For the mud I just use the PITA method of power washing it just like you did. It sucks......
