Multi-function Turn Signal Switch

Mine started acting up (fog lights wouldn't stay off) on my 03 so I googled the symptoms and found this to be a common problem. I went down to Autozone and grabbed a replacement and installed it. The piece is plug and play and has only one fuse running the whole thing. Now my turn signals, hazards, and foglights do not work at all. I'm assuming I got a bad replacement and am going back to switch it out. Just to be on the safe side has anyone else had this problem when replacing the switch?

you're talking about the 20 way multi-function switch behind the steering column? if you replaced that and your lights still don't work, i would definitely check the fuses of course. if the fuses keep burning out then you have a short somewhere. do you have a tailgate brake light?

I had this problem recently. Make sure you took the relay out of your old switch and check the fuses.

That's what happens when you buy electrical parts from advance. You could have a bad part or you forgot to take the relay for your flashers out of your old switch and put it into the new one.

I got mine from Rockauto.com great part and quick shipping.
