My 2006 won't start

I changed the battery in my jeep today washed and detailed it now it is being real touchy about starting. I have checked all the wiring and clamps several times and can not figure it out. Is there a possibility that I have an intermittent
starter problem

Exactly what do you mean by "real touchy"? Is it irritable? Does it walk away from you or make sarcastic comments?

You need to describe your problem in detail. i.e. Does it seem to crank at normal speed but not fire? Does it crank slower than it should? Is it intermittant? Problems when it's cold, warm, etc? Did it start happening immediately after the battery swap? Have you checked the battery voltage when you're having the problem?

The battery had been in there since 2005 and it is going to be a hot summer hear in Idaho
