On the way to work yesterday my 2005 TJ (2.4L) simply quit going about 65 on the interstate. For a little backstory, I have been throwing a Cylinder 3 misfire code off and on for the past couple of weeks. I was planning on swapping plugs this coming week. Ok, so now... I've got that same misfire code (P0303), a camshaft position sensor code (P0340), and a vacuum leak code (P2074).
Does anyone know what would have caused all of these at once? Should I start with the CMP or the plugs and coils. Basically what I'm asking is which one caused the other?
Please help... The weather is great here in Charleston and I want my ride back.
