Can you find the spot were the manifold cracked? you can get that welded if it is a area they can. The cat just put a piece of pipe in there and use the clamps to put in. Get ya fixed for now for 100 bucks

You can also pick up a new manifold for $80 on ebay.

You can get a cat for $60.

Do the labor your self and you should be golden.

The full system will run ya about 700-800 bucks if you want true headers to the full catback. I don't know if it is actually worth it in the 4 banger or even the 6cyc.

A solid cheap option for a cat back system and one that i currently run halfway across the country on a regular basis is a simple off road glasspack with custom tubing. The glasspack i have will run you about 50 bucks, yeah i know somebody is going to jump on me and say thats ridiculous but how many glasspacks do you know can bounce off a rock with nearly a scratch? And a decent shop can weld up the exhaust tubing for probably 100 maybe 150 and there is nothing better for performance than a glasspack, its straight through flow. Plus it sounds pretty sick, but not annoying.

i just went through the manifold thing with my XJ...

i pulled an updated Mopar exhaust manifold off of a ZJ in a local junkyard and got it for $20.

when replacing the manifold, make sure you get the one with the expansion joints on each outer tube. it looks like slinkys on each end tube. do NOT replace with the older style or you're just going to do the job again when it cracks on you.
