Post NEED Help!!

i am still looking at a 1998 Jeep Wrangler SE 4 cyl 2.5L. its got a 3in lift and 33 bf m/t with 83000 miles. wondering with that set up and driving 60mph on a highway to work everyday how that will affect the engine, transmission, and drive shaft? It's also listed at $6988? is that high or sounds about right. need some help and opinions? thanks

i hate buying jeeps with that type of modification and the milage is low so they probably took it offroading and stuff and I had my 89 yj with a 4 banger and it just didn't have the getup on the highway. I first had an 85 cj7 with a 6 and then went to the 4 stupid move on my part. but had no choice really. anyway look around some more and get a stock and do the work yourself its more fun that way

i would think that with such mods that always driving on the highway with only a 4 banger would really work that thing.
i would be leary since someone put money into it to put those mods on and then got rid of it for some reason with such low miles....
Makes ya wonder if they messed something up and just wanted to get out of the rig.

Your best bet is to get a good mechanic to check out the vehicle. The money you spend for this is a good investment. You do not want to pay for someone else's mistakes, but it could be that other factors are involved in someone getting rid of a heep like this.

Due dilligence.

Check it out well and then make a decision.
