Need Help/ Advice on whats wrong

Last weekend I installed a banks monster muffler and pipe. I removed the skid plate, but didnt realize that when I took that off my transfer case was going to drop. I got the new muffler installed and everything jacked back up and bolted back on. But now sometimes when I'm starting off from a stop, also when I start from a stop and turn, I am hearing a noise. I also tried the 4wd and I can move the lever but its like 4 hi and 4 low are blocked and cant pull the lever into those positions. Please help!!

I think you bent your transfer case linkage. Now you cannot believe the indicator position, and you may in fact be in 4wd or between selector positions, which is not good for your transfer case internals. Perhaps the best way to fix this is with a Novak transfer case shifter.

What kind of a noise is it? When I installed my Banks Monster exhaust, the larger pipe would smack up against the right rear shock. I just popped off the right rear wheel and smacked the exhaust bracket in a tad with a hammer to get it away from the shock.

I looked and it seems like I have plenty of clearance back by the exhaust pipe and shock. It's a 2003 tj also by the way.
