Exclamation need help immediately

i am going to my first jamboree in two days and thought my tow hooks would be easy to intall. i cannot get the original bolts off the bumper to put on the tow hooks i bought. also where do i put the rear tow hook? i have a 99 sport. please help..

Here is an idea to mount the rear hook looks to be bolted to the body

i saw this but unfortunately i have the hook with a bolt on each side.

its nothing u could by different fasteners for to make it work? i'm stumped on where else you could mount it with any strength

ok. i will check but how do i take out the front bolts to put the hooks? should i just go to the dealer and/or a mechanic?

If you've had any work done at a shop, take it there. They should be happy to loosen them for you. That's what I did. Or you could take it to the dealership or other shop. Eventually you should invest in a set of craftsman torx bits. I am still waiting for a quote from Slim and Jims tools on a set. I think you may be able to get them at Sears, maybe even K-Mart.

thanks.. i will do that tomorrow... will still take suggestions too...... also what is the size bit needed to drill the rear tow hook..

I used a long breaker bar with a pipe to take the bolts out. Took a hell of a lot to get 'em out. And my tow hook in the back bolted onto the bottom of the frame, one with a nut inside. Required... one of those bent wrenches.
