Need help with trans leak!!!!

When I got home today I realized my 2000 4.0 sport auto is leaking transmission fluid! I crawled under there and there was fluid all over the transfer case!! Looks like it's coming from the back! Anyone have ideas??

The red fluid is transmission fluid... You say that it's leaking over the transfer case? I'd look at the seal where the trans and xfer case mate... But that shouldn't be leaking... I'd check the transmission and make sure there is nothing wrong there first...

Your transfer case uses ATF. It could very well be from your transfer case.

I figured! I tightend them about 2 hours ago and wiped all the fluid up and it hasn't leaked since!
