Need Part

I am the new owner of a 1997 TJ and in need of the driver's side sunvisor. I have tried E-Bay and numerous used yards without success. I did get the driver's side female seat belt part that I was looking for, but no luck on the visor. There are many visors listed for Jeeps to 1997, but then the supply seems to end. I really don't want to buy new if I can avoid it - Jeep TAX and all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

They aren't that useful. Have you tried an aftermarket one from an autoparts store. Hey are bigger and may give you better coverage.

Start here and then search some MOPAR parts sites for these part numbers.....

Thanks all!!

I may have located a drivers' side visor from a salvage yard in AL. Thanks for all the help and advice. Banger, I took your suggestion and located the driver's side seat belt receptacle that I needed, but he didn't have the visor - thanks for the "heads-up". The service was efficient and the price was fair. I have them in my "favorites" listing.

Dutch169, Thanks for the suggestion for the "parts' store route, but I need the attaching arm and associated hardware, too. BTW, does anyone here get a Jeep related magazine, and if so, which one/s are the best source of information? Thanks for your thoughts!

JP magazine.
I also had trouble finding a passenger side sunvisor. Dealer wanted $70, found one at a local junk yard for $25. (sounds like you found one, just thought I'd let you know what I paid).

Thanks

Pokey, Thanks for the info. on the magazine. I saw it advertised and I think that I will subscribe. Odd that I found numerous places with the passenger side visor, but not the drivers' side. The dealer prices are "off the wall". The one I found is $30.00 with shipping, so in line I think.

Thanks again for the reply.
