Need some help..

I have a 98 Sahara , i just got a pair of seat-belts for the rear, they are used however , the belts are twisted at the male end will not install properly, they can be installed , but the belts will be twisted , any suggestions on the easiest way to twist them back ?
I'm not even sure how the heck it happened in the first place.

Thank you
