Need the P-code for dash code 65

Hey everyone,or anyone that can help!!!

I'm trying to get a New York state inspection for my little red devil and you automatically fail the test if your check engine light is on. I have two codes coming up...21 which I know is the O2 sensor and an easy fix. and code 65 which I know is the Powersteering highpressure A/c shutoff (dealer part only) . But the stupid lady at the dealership won't really help me out unless I give her the P-code. She's driving me crazy because she won't get a service guy to come out to the parking lot to say "yep thats right part" or "yeah that code is P***" and of course I can have it scanned for something like 50 or 60 dollars. AAAAAAAHHHHH. And the local police like to give tickets for expired inspections. I've been fortunate the couple times i've been pulled over and they let me go but I'm running out of chances quickly.

OH the little red devil is a 97 4banger that turned into a DD when I dedcided to go back to college. so that's why I'm not spending 50 bucks for some one to tell almost everything I know except the stupid P code. :duh:

I don't think there is a P code for that year. That is a good code and the dealer should know that. I think that year was equipped with a power steering pressure switch. If so it should be on the high pressure line somewhere. Unless your pressure line is getting blown off the pump intermittently I would start there.

hope it helps.

.... Well there has to be because It was scanned by a hand scanner and I wasn't told what the number was then, and I have no way of reaching the guy who told me the problem originally. Anyhoo. I know where the sensor is and I have taken it off to look at it. only to find out that in the 5 mins I had it off the PS fluid almost completly drained. So i'm not going to take it off in the dealer parking lot and ask the DAMN Counter girl if this is the right part. I even asked if she a a picture of the part and she handed me a scamatic of the PS system. I'm no dummy when it comes to technical drawings As a matter of fact i like to think I pretty proficiant and it...but this thing was brutal.. I digress... As you can tell from all this writing I'm getting very frustrated.
