Needing help

I bought new alloy wheels with a 3.5 backspace. Can I fit a 12.50 tire without rubbing on the coil spring bracket?

Usually if there's a rubbing problem, it's against the lower control arm, but with only 3.5" of backspace you shouldn't have any problems with rubbing on the back. You didn't say what diameter or lift size, so I'm assuming you have that base covered.

I'm running a 3" lift with 33x12.5x15's and 3.75 of backspace. I don't have a hint of rub. I think I probably could have gotten away with 4". With 3.5 I think you'll be more than fine as far as clearance is concerned. Post up some pics of those new wheels!
