New Gears..Need Axels??

After much debate and research (maybe not enough because of this question) I deceided on new gears. Going with 5:13's and 35 x 12.50 tires. Talking with guy at local shop he strongly suggested getting new upgraded chromally axels at the same time since "the labor is the same" but of course this adds quite a bit to the price. Is this REALLY needed? I'm not sure if I should run and avoid other extra "needed" stuff or thank him for saving me money in the long run. 04 rubicon 4" lift 1" spacer front 2" rear, 1" body lift 1" motor mount lift. What do the experts say?? Moderate wheeling rocks, climbs and so far no mudding.

ya, one thing i didn't factor in when i built my rear axle 5.13 is all that reduction done from the diff to the wheel. talking with a trusted friend, he never broke a rear shaft, but had many front shafts break w/ that gearing in a d44, if you think about it, all that reduction and i'm sure you know axle shafts twist everytime you use them, it doesn't take a lot if that wheel doesn't spin for that shaft to twist enough times to break.
