Question New member needs help - A/C blower problem.

I have just bought my first Jeep, 2000 Wrangler TJ Sport, and am having problem with blower speeds on heater/AC. I have all speeds except Medium. My question is whether the blower switch or blower resistor is the culprit? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im new to Jeep, but I can reply on behalf of multiple ford vans (work fleet) in the meantime...Our problem was always the resistor, taking out the I had to replace both. I believe the resistor goes first, and had I had the time before I was told by the driver I could have checked that, but u can check continuity on all switch channels isolated from the resistor to be sure.

it could be either one,but from what i read on here,I would look at the switch first see if its burned at pigtail, if it checks out good than go to resitor
