New Rubicon Shocks and Springs for 2003 tj?

Will take-offs springs and shocks from a newer Rubicon fit my tj? I have a 2003 tj sport with 31" tires,2" coil spacer lift, es3000 pro-comp shocks. It rides to stiff on the street and I offroad it when camping but not extreme type trails or rocks. Would like to keep about 2" of lift with a better street ride - Thanks for any help.

The front shocks are not compatible with factory mounting provisions.
The rear shocks might be compatible with factory mounting provisions.
The coil springs would be the wrong rate and possibly size, not recommended.

I would advise a puck lift and extended shocks for a low budget lift that will still maintain good ride and handling.

Any TJ spring will swap right in. Don't expect any noticeable lift from a Rubi spring vs a standard TJ spring. But there are different spring stiffness rates. A Rubi spring will have a stiffer spring vs an SE 4cyl.
FWIW, back when I pulled my stock 04 TJ X (hard top model) springs, they had the same spring tags on them as my buddy's LJ Rubi.

Do a search for the thread on what JK stuff will mix and how. Seems like everyone's experience with those parts are different. I have an '06 Sport. I'm running JK take-off front springs, stock TJ rears, 2" coil spacers, and JK Rubi take-off shocks all around. It wasn't hard to make the shocks work and I got everything for $50. Ride smoothed out quite a bit from the better shocks. It was worth it to me because I like to tinker.

My results were this: front JK springs and stock front springs were a wash. The rear JK springs lifted the back another 1/2" - 3/4" compared to the stockers so I left the TJ ones in.
