newb battery question.

i was just lookin around my engine bay when i was hooking up a set of fog lights when i was putting the power cable onto the battery i noticed i have ALOT of wires coming out of my battery (winch and what not) i noticed there was ANOTHER battery tray on the fire wall in front of the driver side. my question is how can i put another battery in there and link it to the main battery so i have an alternate place to hook up my light bar and other accesories. any ideas or pics of people who have done the same thing would be very helpful thanks in advance guys this forum is always very usefull to me.

That's not a battery tray on the drivers side firewall. If your Rubicon is like mine it doesn't have ABS, right? Well that's where the ABS plumbing goes. I don't think that it's strong enough to support a battery. Added question: Did Rubicons come with ABS, or was it special order?

idk lol but i found out in funny fashion that i didnt have abs when i down shifted in the snow and went sideways and then hit the brakes to correct and went even more sideways lol, it looks like a tray though, i should have someone weld in supports and throw another battery in so the main battery isnt cluttered.

There's dual battery tray set-up already out there, but in order to put there, you would have to plum wire across the engine compartment.

No real need for dual batteries though. I run my winch, windshield lights and rock llights off one battery. Usually the dual set-up for for guys running on board welders... etc
