Newb Here! RE 2" Spacer Lift, 1" Body. What else do I need?

I'd LIKE to go with a 2" Rubicon Express SPACER lift and a 1" body lift. (body lift to come in a month)

Aside form the two "kits" and some washers for the trans case, anyone else have thoughts on what I need? ie: longer brake lines, wiring issues?

Again, new Jeeper, Newb on the site but handy with Automotive related things. PLEASE be gentle with your feedback. And YES I'm on a budget

Thanks all!!!

What size tires are you planning to run with this setup?

Based on what you said.. stock brake, gas ac lines should be okay.. before you lift the body be sure to make sure you loosen any line clamps that might be an issue as you raise it. Should clear 33's.. will rub at full flex though.

Sorry I should put that in my Signature line. I just put on 31 10.5 15 with stock rims a couple of weeks ago.

I would just use the 2" spacer then, no need for the body lift with 31's.

Body lift is just more for looks and NOT really for function. I have stock suspension now (obviously) and no clearance issues (except for extreme articulation) with my new 31"s.

The words body lift and "for looks" usually don't go together.. as it leaves an unsightly gap. But due as you like, its your jeep.

some PB blaster, a cinder block (if using a bottle jack to install the body lift), a socket set, a 12" socket extension, a torque wrench, and a 2x4 piece of wood and your all set.

This is more what I had in mind. No brake lines need to be changed or anything of that sort???

A steering stabilizer will not solve the problem if you get DW, it may mask it but you need to drop the T-case a bit with some washers if you end up getting the wobble. You don't need a steering stabilizer with 31" tires you will be fine.

yea i mean to drop the T case here before the summer is over because i can feel a little wobble in the stick at take off. (but i secretly like it) and it seems like a lot of trouble.
