No cold air

I have an 03 TJ sport, no a/c. The heater works great but when I turn the knob to blue (cold) it still pushes hot air. Not a huge problem yet since the high temps around here right now are a balmy 40 degrees, but I would like to know why it is doing this. I have tried turning the fan off completely and starting it back on cold air and it still only pushes hot air.

Any ideas or anyone who has had this problem before, your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Mine did that. It was a bad sensor in the sliders. It cost like $50 at a shop for parts and labor.
